NYU Law Research Assistant Contract

Welcome NYU Law Research Assistant Contract. This legal document outlines the terms and conditions of your engagement as a research assistant at NYU Law. Please read and understand the contents of this contract before proceeding.

Parties This agreement is entered into between New York University School of Law, hereinafter referred to as "NYU Law", and the Research Assistant, hereinafter referred to as "Assistant".
Scope Work The Assistant shall assist NYU Law faculty members in conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and providing support for academic projects and publications. The Assistant shall perform duties as assigned by the supervising faculty member and shall adhere to all relevant laws and regulations.
Compensation The Assistant shall be compensated at the rate of $X per hour, for a total of X hours per week. Payment shall be made on a monthly basis and is subject to tax deductions as per applicable laws.
Confidentiality The Assistant agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all research materials, documents, and discussions related to the work at NYU Law. The Assistant shall not disclose any confidential information to third parties without the prior written consent of NYU Law.
Termination This contract may be terminated by either party with a notice of X days. In case of termination, the Assistant shall return all materials and documents belonging to NYU Law and shall receive compensation for work completed up to the date of termination.
